From 1 October 2025, your Myanmar maid does not need a visa if she’s flying into Malaysia for a short social visit of up to 14 days.
Immigration still has the final say, so she’ll need to bring her return ticket, itinerary, hotel booking, and her work permit.
If your trip is longer than 14 days, you’ll still need to apply for a Multiple Entry Visa.
And no, you can’t extend or convert the visa-free 14 days.
So quick summary: before Oct 2025, visa still needed.
After Oct 2025, visa-free only if flying in. For JB weekend trips by car, still need a visa.
